Launch Event for Moxie Industries, an Eco-Conscious Fashion, Music and Art Company

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - May 26, 2009) - This Thursday, Moxie Industries celebrates the launch of their eco-conscious and animal-friendly fashion, music and art company at their Love Your World event. Festivities take place from 8 to 10 p.m. at Cinespace, 6356 Hollywood Blvd., Los Angeles, Calif.

The evening includes an educational eco-101 video, runway show of Moxie Industries' eco-fashion line and live performance by Moxie Industries' founder Vanessa Diaz. Attendees can partake in the silent auction of art made with recycled materials and drawings for prizes, like Moxie Industries clothes and other items. Twenty percent of net proceeds from the event will be donated to PETA and an environmentally focused non-profit organization.

Through Diaz' natural creative progression, she was inspired to unite her passion for singing, performance, costume design and art into one environmentally conscious company. "We hope to inspire others to love their world by seeking and creating eco-friendly alternatives to the items they consume," says Diaz.

Each style of The Certified Organic Cotton Think Green T-shirts includes, "Sammy Green" (a cartoon character with a green brain) demonstrates an eco-conscious activity, using vivid images rather than words to remind us of simple things we can do to help the earth. Styles include Recycle, Ride a Bike, Plant a Tree, Car Pool and Solar Powered in crew neck, scoop neck and v-neck t-shirts and spaghetti tank tops.

The clothing line includes several styles of jeans, twill shorts and a denim skirt. The signature green stitching in the product line represents the company's environmental commitment.
