Jalbum connects to the blogosphere

Stockholm, May 19th, 2009 - Jalbum, the popular photo sharing service and personal web album creator software connects to the bloggers around the world by introducing a brand new tool called Jalbum Blog badge. Any blogger can now conveniently display their photo album news in the sidebar of their blog. The blog badge is automatically updated and shared when an album is published with Jalbum. Photo albums can be published anywhere, to a free Jalbum account or the bloggers own site.

“We have received a lot of questions from our users on how to share albums in blogs. We are very excited to be able to provide a powerful tool for bloggers to integrate personalised photo albums with their blogs. Jalbums flexible photo albums are a great fit with the bloggers desire for self-expression. The Blog badge will connect Jalbum to a huge creative audience, people we are eager to meet”, says Carl Manneh, CEO of Jalbum.

The Jalbum Blog Badge was launched as Beta in March 2009. Since then, thousands of bloggers have already added the Blog badge to their sites. The blogs are distributed all over the world: from Andrea, a casual blogger in Brazil (andreabrava.blogspot.com), and Jon Perkins running a Karp fishing camp in France (lescroix.blogspot.com) to a real estate blog in Dallas
(dallasurbanblog.blogspot.com). More examples here: http://jalbum.net/blog/entry/blog-badge-in-action/.

WordPress and Blogger integration
In addition to a general code to copy-and-paste into blogs, the Blog badge also comes as plug-ins for leading blog services Wordpress and Blogger. The tool is very flexible when it comes to customization of the presentation. Any creative blogger can easily adjust the presentation of the Blog badge in terms of colors, fonts and more, to fit the site it is used on.
