DVB-T and video on the go on your personal movie screen
OBERKOCHEN/Germany, 25.09.2008. - According to Carl Zeiss, anyone that wants to watch television or movies on Nokia's new N96 multimedia mobile phone in real cinema quality should purchase the cinemizer video eyewear. The cinemizer is currently on display in Cologne at the photokina trade fair (Hall 02.1, booth C019). The 115 gram video goggles simulate a more than one meter movie screen at a distance of two meters. The mobile movie screen can be connected to either the new N96 super class mobile phone or its predecessor, the N95. The N96 offers a unique feature: In addition to all video formats, the TV signal from the integrated DVB-T receiver is displayed on the video eyewear without loss of quality.
“Anyone that has experienced their favorite show, a TV movie, a music clip, a YouTube video or a soccer game on the cinemizer screen, will no longer be satisfied with a standard screen, not to mention a small phone display,” states Andreas Klavehn, Marketing Multimedia Devices Manager at cinemizer developer Carl Zeiss.
