picture alliance cooperates with International Photo Exhibition "Colorful Guizhou - Photo China Original"

• on display are some 500 photographs illustrating German and European culture
• all exhibited photos will be exclusively licensed for the Chinese market via Imaginechina

The Frankfurt based photo agency picture alliance will be the only German cooperation partner at the international photographic exhibition “Colorful Guizhou - Photo China Original”, running from 26 September to 8 October in the cities of Zunyi and Guiyang, Guizhou Province. The agency selected and prepared some 500 photos from its stock and archives to present Germany and Europe from their best sides to the Chinese and international audience. At the centre of interest for the Chinese exhibition makers were mainly topics such as landscapes, people, architecture and touristic sights as well as specific cultural features and the ethnic diversity. All shown images will be exclusively licensed for the Chinese market through the partner agency Imaginechina.

The cooperation with this exhibition marks another important step for picture alliance to enhance their international orientation. As representatives of picture alliance, Edith Stier-Thompson (Managing Director) and Peter Stroh (International Sales Manager) will attend the exhibition opening Friday, 25 September.

“Colorful Guizhou - Photo China Original” international photographic exhibition is approved by the Ministry of Culture of China and jointly hosted by the Guizhou Provincial Government, the Information Bureau of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, the National Tourism Administration, UNESCO and the China Photographers Association.
