The National Maritime Museum in Greenwich, London has launched a new Picture Library website

London (UK), JANUARY 2009 - nmmimages.com has over 14,500 images on-line and gives users fast access to the Museum’s collections. Lightboxes, hi-resolution downloads and comprehensive metadata make it easy to find and license images from the Museum. Pictures on nmmimages.com include oil paintings, prints, historic photographs and objects from the Museum’s unrivalled maritime collections. The range of images on offer will be expanded and updated throughout 2009.
