New Website: Photo Tips

This new website is aimed at connecting photographers for the purpose of learning. Photo Tips is designed to balance those seeking feedback with members providing feedback. Uploads are tightly restricted and the image most in need of feedback is placed "in focus." The in focus image is displayed on the home page and linked directly from the main menu.

In addition to the core critique system, Photo Tips allows all members to write articles. Articles are made available to the community for review and evaluation. Scoring high marks on your critiques and articles can net you additional upload slots.

The purpose of the photo tips website is to allow any photographer to get quick and reliable advice. The system at photo tips does all it can to ensure that your images receive a fair amount of feedback. For example, the single image most in need of critiques is put "in focus." This in focus image is prominately promoted throughout the site in an effort to solicit maximum feedback.

Give Advice

Like with most things in life, the more you give, the more you get. The photo tips system allows you to upload only if you are willing to actively participate in giving advice. If you feel you are a novice, don't worry, you can participate primarily in the amateur category where you will surely find images for which you can offer advice.
